Sunday Runs

Sunday runs are traditionally used by runners for their longest weekly run. On Sundays it’s possible to go off-road in Winter, which we can’t do on Wednesday nights. There are usually a few group runs to choose from, doing different speeds/distances. Non-members are welcome to join us (email secretary@bvrunners.org.uk by Friday to make arrangements), but if you are new to running it’s best to start on a Wednesday.

The default meeting place is Aldershot Park car park (next to the cricket club), but usually we meet elsewhere! Details of the forthcoming events are published on our Facebook page.

Sometimes we meet outside a teashop in the local area (Seale tearooms, Frensham Great Pond, etc) and run from there. This allows us to explore the local beauty spots. After the run, we then retire to the tearoom for tea and cake.

Once a month there is usually a MABAC league event counting towards our Points Championship. On those Sundays, we usually meet in the car park next to the cricket club at a suitable time then car share to the event.
