Bognor Regis Prom Run Review

Report by Mary Thane

This year is the second time that I have run this race and it just gets better! The race starts and finishes at West Park in Bognor Regis.  Parking is on site and free but there is no bag drop so you need to leave your possessions in your vehicle.  The beach is a stone’s throw away so it’s an ideal family trip out.

The race sets out along the iconic Bognor Regis promenade and then meanders through a residential area with the sea not far away.  The last few kilometres are along the promenade with its boats and sea side smells, finishing back in the park where you can purchase snacks, drinks and of course ice cream.  There is a nice goody bag and a medal for all finishers. The course is flat so its makes a great PB run. The race is well supported.  Numbers and joining instructions are sent our early.  There is no merchandise to buy.  I definitely recommend this race and I plan to run it again next year.
